How you can help
Volunteer some time
Without our volunteers we couldn’t hold our riding lessons. All we ask is for a couple of hours of your time each week , whatever your skills, you will have something to offer RDA – and it’s not just about horses and ponies – there are plenty of other jobs that need to get done and you’re bound to find a role that suits you. We have been very lucky in the past to get volunteers from the local schools through the Duke of Edinburgh Award. It is a well recognised award given for completing a programme of activities that can be undertaken by anyone aged 14 to 24 and is aimed towards helping young people with their personal development. The RDA sessions has been approved by the DofE as a suitable way of accumulating volunteering hours to count towards the award. To become a volunteer, click here.
Corporate sponsorship
Businesses can display an advertisement board on outdoor competition dressage arena. The boards are approximately 2400mm wide by 800mm high and will be seen by the many equestrian visitors to Blackdyke Riding and Competition Centre but also the guests to the private hire swimming pool, as well as from the main parking area.
